Brazilian aerospace company Embraer plans to establish a European office for its Defense & Security division as sales of its C-390 Millennium cargo aircraft grow across the region. Recently, countries like the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, and Sweden have committed to acquiring the C-390, joining Portugal and Hungary, existing European operators. This expansion, likely based in Portugal, aims to strengthen Embraer’s position in Europe, aligning with NATO standards and increasing European components in its aircraft. The company also sees Europe as a strategic market alongside Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the U.S.
