Buddy Hield led a balanced Golden State Warriors offense with 18 points as the team secured a hard-fought 123-118 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in an NBA Cup game on Friday night in San Francisco. The Warriors showcased depth, with nine players scoring at least eight points, including Moses Moody with 14 and Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins each adding 13.

Jaren Jackson Jr. starred for Memphis, leading all scorers with 32 points. Desmond Bane made his return from an oblique injury, contributing 18 points off the bench, but the Grizzlies struggled from beyond the arc, shooting just 16.7% (7-for-42).

Golden State held a narrow 55-48 halftime lead but pulled away in the third quarter with a 19-11 surge, highlighted by three-pointers from Curry, Hield, and rookie Brandin Podziemski. The Warriors built a 15-point cushion entering the fourth quarter and weathered a late Memphis rally, sparked by a 20-6 run, to clinch their third consecutive victory.

Hield hit four three-pointers, while Green, Curry, and Moody each added three, helping Golden State dominate from deep with a 57-21 scoring advantage from beyond the arc. Green also contributed seven assists and eight rebounds, while Curry added eight boards, five assists, and four steals.

For Memphis, rookie Zach Edey impressed with 14 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Jaylen Wells chipped in 16 points.
